I have always wanted to be a painter, I always thought it would be cool to actually create something from nothing.. My moms a great oil painter, she's done some great works in her time, wish she'd do more.
That said, I had come across some paintings made from Photos using various software programs, most were done with Corel Painter. Also though, quite a few were also done in Photoshop... that's where I got the bug. All of my "Paintings" are hand painted from the original photo.. not copied or done by the computer with the push of a button, but each stroke is hand done, I use a Wacom pen tablet, and Photoshop CS3.
